I think theres probably few things finer than a properly ripe, home grown strawberry eaten straight after being picked. No nasty chemicals, refridgiration or artifical ripening – just a plant, water and sunlight….. boy was it nice 
Mini Chocolate-Strawberry Heart Pancakes

Organic oat chocolate vegan pancakes (wheat-free) with a strawberry heart in the center.
1 cup oat flour
2 tbsp. cocoa powder
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
pinch freshly grated nutmeg
1 very ripe banana (mashed)
3/4 – 1 cup soy milk or other non-dairy milk
3 tbsp maple syrup or agave nectar (or to taste)
Mix dry and wet ingredients separately. Combine wet ingredients to dry. Let stand for about 5 minutes. Consistency should be the same as any other pancake batter – thicker is okay. Warm a skillet on low-medium heat and prepare just as any other pancakes! I cut a slice of strawberry in the shape of a heart and placed it in the center of the pancake right before flipping over. Careful not to leave it sitting on the strawberry side for too long! Serve and enjoy!
