5 Braeburn apples
1 lb strawberries
1 lb fava beans (this is the first time I have had fava beans, I have determined that they are gross)
1 Eureka lemon
1 yellow onion
1lb Russian something or other taters
5 Hass avocados
1 bunch cauliflower
2 zucchini
1lb endive (What do you do with endives? They are a mystery to me)
1 bunch broccoli
2 bunches lettuce
2 mangoes (Mangoes are actually on my exclusion list but we got them anyway! I don’t know how to tell when they are ripe, I will just guess?)
This has not been my favorite week. All of the strawberries and avocados and taters are great, but zucchini and mangoes are both on my exclusion list and we got them anyway. Zucchini: they’re just too mushy! Mangoes: they are an enigma. Also, my first experience with fava beans: woah, no more please.
