Ordered as a gift for my parents, it was not as advertised. The coated peanuts were spicy and not advertised as such. Also the chocolate covered cherries were in fact cherry candies like an M&M. I will not order from this distributor again. It did arrive promptly but I credit Amazon for that.

I just ordered this for my mother as one of her birthday’s gift. She has just informed me that the almonds on this group are not fresh, and she eats nuts every day. While some of the stuffs here are probably edible, I expect the package to be fresh. I am disappointed as this is a gift and I can’t fix this myself. The prices of these gifts are not the cheapest so I expect better. Unless the company sends my mother another one, I will not order from this company again.

I sent this basket of nuts to three different recipients. All of them raved about how good the nuts were. This is the perfect gift to send when you don’t quite know what to send, as it is healthy, delicious, festive, and really enjoyable. The nuts arrived very quickly and were fresh and ample in portion. I’m very satisfied with this product!

The tower consists of 7 boxes totaling 18 inches in height with each box going from biggest box 5 x 8 to smallest box 2 x 3. They contain a 4 oz. bag of brownie brittle, a 4 oz. bag of chocolate malted balls, a 4 oz. bag of chocolate chip cookies, a 5 oz. bag of butter toffee popcorn, a 4 oz. bag of chocolate cashews, 2 wrapped Milk Bavarian Pretzels, 2 wrapped Dark Bavarian Pretzels, 4 wrapped mini peanut butter cups, 12 wrapped caramel kisses (taffy), & 3 wrapped mini pieces of English Toffee. So far, I have tried the malted balls and they were just okay and I tried 1 piece of the English toffee and it was nasty. As soon as I opened it, I could smell the strong smell of oil that the peanuts covering the toffee were cooked in and when I tasted it the strong oily taste was in the peanuts too. Like I said it was nasty. Hopefully, the rest of the candies will be okay. The box tower itself was cute and I’ll use it again to put different homemade cookies and candies in each box. Overall, I would say you are getting maybe a total of $10.00 worth of cheap chocolates in the tower and that price is on the high side. Received as a gift and for the ratio, quality, and the price paid it’s not worth it. Differently would not be something I would buy myself and I feel bad for the individual that purchased this for me because I know they would be upset to know how bad this item really was and the company that produced it should be ashamed of themselves for offering a product such as this one.

Presentation is poor. Comes with the bottoms of each box glued to the top of the next box. Not much quanity for $40.00. Probably $15.00 worth of candy in it’s entirety.

I was surprised after reading the other reviews. We got this as a gift at our office and everyone loved it. I thought everything tasted very good (above average for a gift basket assortment) and was surprised at how low the cost was when I looked it up on Amazon. Maybe we just got a rare good one but I would consider giving it as a gift!
