This is one of the few “bars” that I can really say is outstanding. The taste is scrumptious and you can eat it as an afternoon snack without guilt. Each bar is 180 calories with reasonable fat and sugar. The first ingredient listed on both flavors is almonds. For me the main thing that sets it apart is that the fruit and nuts are fresh and tasty plus I get my chocolate fix. So many other bars of this type have something cardboard-ish in the taste and consistency – not so with these Brookside bars. I tried my hand at making my own homemade fruit and nut bars but these actually taste better and are equivalent to the ones I made in my own kitchen. No kidding – I really am a fan.

These are my favorite bars. I can’t find them in the stores and the local Costco no longer sells them. Thank goodness for Amazon. I just wish they weren’t do expensive, but it’s worth the price.

I found these at BJ’s once and loved them. Next time I went, it was gone, no longer to be found. These bars are delicious, nutritious and satisfy all cravings. It is a must have snack at work. So glad to have found them here. Please keep them in stock.
