   My husband got a sample of a Lara Bar when he ran the Marine Corps Marathon years ago. They are far superior to other bars on the market. Simple, tasty, and a great pick me up snack. We have tried many of the flavors and they are true to taste. Great for the kids too, my son can down them and they are a much better choice to the typical candy bar. Some of them are sweet tasting, great for the sugar addict’s taste buds and body! We are not a “health food” family, but really like these bars. One thing to note also is the texture..they do not crumble easliy like some of the other bars on the market,(they are soft) and that makes them a good choice for lunch boxes, or in a backpack on a hike.

   Not only are Larabars delicious, but they have only about four ingredients in each bar so you know EXACTLY what you’re eating. These are the only bars that I can still eat without gagging – most of the other “health” bars I’ve tried taste artificial. Cherry pie and coconut cream pie are my favorites, but I haven’t found one that I don’t like yet.

   This same multi-pack can be purchased at Sam’s Club for only 15.98. That’s only 89 cents per bar. We love Larabars, but I’m always looking for the best price. We have even made our own bars at home that turned out great. Search the internet for recipe ideas.
