   I was really excited about this product. I ordered it and it arrived in two days, which would be awesome if it weren’t covered in mold.

   Don’t get me wrong – we love this jerky (and definitely hard to pace yourself once the bag is open…), but I was expecting way more jerky for the price. Ouch! I know the ounces was listed, but for some reason I was still expecting more. Oh well – a good treat, but likely won’t be buying again at that price…

   I’ll start by saying that this brand is honestly THE BEST vegan jerky we’ve ever had. We received our order quickly and everything seemed great; however, we were quickly disappointed and very disturbed to find the majority of the bag covered in what appeared to be fuzzy mold. The bag had an expiration date that was still more than four months away so it should have been fresh but we couldn’t eat it. The price is high for such a small bag and we can’t buy this locally so it was a huge disappointment and pretty gross that it was moldy.
