They taste just how I remember them before they disappeared from the U.S. No longer will I have to go to or import from Europe to enjoy the best M&M’s ever created. We wanted them back and we got them. Mission Accomplished America! Now to un-ban Kinder eggs.

They taste just as good as I remember, December 22, 2014

In 1999, I bit into my first crispy M&M. I was 9 years old at the time and fell in love straight away, telling myself these were my new favorite type of M&M’s (even better than the original solid milk chocolate). Well, that lasted for a few years, until they decided to get rid of them. For awhile I forgot about them, until a petition popped up online to bring them back. I signed it, doubting it would ever happen, but still signed it anyway. Sure enough, not too long after I signed it, they announced Crispy M&M’s would be returning as a result of so many consumers requesting it!

It’s Christmas time, meaning the stores are crowded. I stood in line for a good 20 minutes for a single bag of this candy! Once I finally was able to pay and walk out the door, I cracked these open and became so happy. The taste brought me back to when I was a kid, trying these out for the very first time. The taste is just as I remember it. I just hope they stay this time and never disappear again. I love these!

Love chocolate and pretzels, but not as good as I hoped., May 19, 2010

When I saw the new Pretzel M&M’s in my local store, I had to try a pack because I love chocolate coated pretzels, and generally M&M’s come out with great special flavors.

Overall, these where just okay, the biggest problem to me was the chocolate layer seemed thinner than on similar products (such as the almond, peanut, or peanut butter M&M’s). Why is that a problem? Less chocolate means you taste the sweet, sugary shell more, so the over-all taste of this candy was sweeter than I would have liked.

The bit was very good, the ball of pretzel in the middle was very crunchy but not too hard and had a nice touch of saltiness.

In the end, its worth trying a pack if you like chocolate pretzels, but I found it too sugary tasting, which overpowered the flavor of the chocolate. I am sure kids would really love this one though, I know part of the reason I love M&M’s is all the childhood memories of this candy line (I miss the old color palette!)

I am not sure I would buy them again, but I don’t regret trying them!
