    You’re just buying applesauce!, March 5, 2015

I was purchasing these regularly for a while because they are one of the few organic baby food brands that doesnt add flour or starches to their purees like Earth’s Best and Gerber do. However, these are labeled very deceptively so Moms..take note! Not sure how they are able to get away with false labeling ALL of THEIR purees as having a variety of unique fruits/vegetables when each pack is literally 85% apple or pear puree. The FIRST INGREDIENT in EVERY SINGLE PLUM ORGANIC PUREE PACK IS APPLES OR PEARS…even when apples or pears are NOT listed as an ingredient on the cover of the pack, such as this one which is marketed as “Kale, Strawberry, Amaranth, Greek Yogurt” ..but if you flip the pack over and look at the nutritional facts you can clearly see the first fruit in the ingredient list (if you didnt know, FDA requires the ingredients be listed in order based on amount) is pureed apple..then usually water . And I have nothing against apples, but trust me..I always sample these and they typically taste like pears or apples with no other flavors of these listed vegetables. I wont bother purchasing these anymore because as I said, you are just purchasing apple and pear sauce with miniscule amounts of these other vegetables that sound so awesome and healthy..but sorry, your kid is barely getting any of these things. Your children just aren’t getting the nutrients you THINK they are getting with the laundry list of awesome things that are barely even in there. Pears and Apples are cheap, they throw a ¼ teaspoon of zucchini or kale and try to fool you. They taste good and my daughter enjoys them, but everyone should be aware of this tricky marketing scam and look at the ingredient list before you purchase. Ask yourself why these are usually 50% cheaper than other organic purees..Its because they are nutritionally lacking. just purchase them for giving your kid a good dose of apples and pears is my suggestion.

    Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
since the name of the product is ‘mighty 4’, i would have expected at least the first few ingredients to actually be one of them! shame on me for not looking more closely at the ingredient list before purchasing. They are totally not worth the money.

My 18 month old loves these. She has tried all but the Kiwi. I have a cupboard for her that she can get to with all her snacks, bowls and pouches and she has been picking these over her Peter Rabbit ones.

The price on Amazon is ridiculous even with a subscribe and save you can get these at Toys R Us 8 for 10 right now, and they have that sale quiet often, I wish it was cheaper on here because I tend to buy large amounts of the pouches since she goes through them for snacks everyday and they can start getting costly.
