Started using Quinoa flour as additive to wheat flour when I baked muffins for more vitamins. Gradually I have used more Quinoa and less wheat flour to the point where I am only using the Quinoa flour, which makes my end result gluten free. I do not have a gluten problem, but if anyone does, Quinoa is a great substitute. No problem mixing or blending with other ingredients.

No offense to the sellers, I got exactly what I ordered quickly and in good condition. I just disliked the bitter green taste of the quinoa even more in flour format than I do in whole quinoa, so this is just a warning to other folks like me: If you happen to notice that flavor in regular quinoa don’t try the flour, it won’t work for you. My husband is meanwhile happily munching down on the cookies I made with this, so it’s totally individual…

Roland Quinoa Flour has been an excellent flour for our main use, making Quinoa muffins. Quinoa flour is hard to come by in local markets in our area, and when found is usually over priced. The Roland Quinoa Flour has been both a bargain and has had very good quality. The price on Amazon (about $8 per 17.6-ounce bag at the time of this review) has been about a third to half the price charged by local. RECOMMENDED.
