This pack has 3 bars, two of dark (one bittersweet 70%, one semi-sweet 62%) and one of milk. Both are excellent, although fans of really extreme low-sugar, high cacao-content dark chocolate may find the bittersweet a little mild; it’s more of a traditional, balanced bittersweet at 70%. The 62% semi-sweet is my favorite chocolate anywhere, with a wonderful complex, chocolatey flavor without being either too dark or bringing in distracting non-chocolate notes.

The milk is a good milk chocolate, but after the other two doesn’t stand out as something special.

Now I know why Hershey Company bought this company. It’s the best chocolate in their line. Very rich and smooth and you will enjoy all assortments ( % Cacoa ) It has a tradition that stands up to the more expensive chocolate makers. It would be great for any holiday and I wish they made small packages for lunch and snack. Try it – you won’t be disappointed.

If you have a thing for chocolate like I do, you’ll thoroughly enjoy this. It arrived packaged very well, with no damage and once opened I was happy with the presentation. The chocolate squares are individually wrapped and contained in a small, lidded glass jar. When I first looked at it here on Amazon I think I expected the jar to be bigger, but it’s actually quite petite. (I added a photo with an average can of soup next to it for size reference) The good thing about this jar is that regardless of size, it holds approximately 120 squares of delicious chocolate. The assortment is Milk, Semisweet, Bittersweet and Extra Dark; each square melts in your mouth and has good flavor and smoothness. Because these are quality chocolates I have found that II can’t eat more than a piece or two at a time, which ensures that they will last quite a while. Overall I think this is a great gift for the chocolate connoisseur and it would also look great on an office desk for sharing. I would recommend to anyone wanting to purchase the tasting squares, but not needing the jar for display to look into the following selection for a comparable value: Scharffen Berger Chocolate Tasting Squares Box (41% Milk Chocolate, 62% Semisweet Chocolate, 70% Bittersweet Chocolate, and 82% Extra Dark Chocolate), 48-Piece Box.
