The information station is the main hub for all information about all of the Farm Discovery tour and activities such as the guided tour, sign up for milking a cow, activities like butter making, Organic Valley products, Organic Valley’s Cooperative of family farmers, and the McClelland’s farm. It is also the last stop on the way out where all visitors on their way out received a gift bag with many Organic Valley products, including a new protein vanilla and chocolate "Organic Valley" protein shake, stringles cheese snacks, Mighty Bar, Nature’s Path granola bars, and Annies cheddar bunnies from Organic Valley’s good partners, a handful of coupons, and a Farm Discovery booklet to remember the experience! Sharing the goodness!

I had a great time working with Organic Valley’s Farm Discovery Tour Events Team and Farmers on the McClelland’s Dairy in Two Rock near Petaluma. It was an honor to work with an amazing group of respected professionals who generously shared their time, deep knowledge, and inspiring passion for what they do. I was also thrilled to learn that ten percent of the proceeds from this event was donated to a local non-profit organization Common Vision.
The Farm Discovery event offered a great opportunity for visitors to experience a local Organic Valley dairy farm through a guided tour where they learn about the milking process, the importance of pasture, the health of the animals, good land stewardship practices in farming, and sample some of the tasty Organic Valley dairy products that are a product of these good ecological farming practices. Visitors also had the opportunity to participate in fun activities like milking a cow, making their own butter, and had samples and good memories to take home with them.
