|chocolate cherry flavor needs more chocolate and less sugar,
This is all right, but is not my favorite item from Two Moms in the Raw. I think I wish it had more chocolate! (For something with chocolate in the name, this is important…)
The texture is good. I like bars where you can identify the ingredients (nothing homogenized here). It was neither too sticky nor too hard. (It is easier to eat than a KIND bar.)
You can see the full ingredients list if you scroll down the product page. This is vegan, raw, and gluten free, if any of those are of concern to you. It is also organic and non-GMO. If you have nut allergies, though, you would want to avoid this — it contains almonds, walnuts, and pecans.
One bar has 270 calories, 20 grams of fat (healthful plant fats), 4 grams of fiber, and 6 grams of protein. Sugar is a little high at 14 grams, but if you ate this as a quick breakfast with a piece of fruit, it wouldn’t be too bad for you, especially in moderation. As with any snack item, moderation is key!
