Like all grains you may also find dirt or debris …,
Boil the correct amount of water 2 to 1 ratio. Add your preferred salt i use Himalayan pink and a splash of oil (vegetable, olive oil )The oil will help prevent the water from boiling over which is caused by the starch in the rice, and some people say it also adds flavor. I also add 1/8 tsp turmeric powder and black seed to the boiling water then i add the clean rice and cover and lower the heat to low. Cook for 15 minutes.
After fifteen minutes, take the lid off. If there is any excess water, allow it to boil off. Fluff with a fork, you are done.
This rice is very tasty and easy to make

Healthy, lightweight and aromatic… Best of all this is Organic and GMO free.,
My favorite thing about this rice is that it did not get mushy at all. It had a great taste and everyone in the family really enjoyed it, everyone gobbled it up and even asked for seconds. I am also beyond thrilled with the fact that this rice is also completely organic and free from all GMOs.
I used the Sona Masoori to make a spicy South Indian lemon rice. If you have never tried this rice before, this is a great recipe:
