A little on the pricey side but you can find deals if you shop around. Some flavors are cheaper than others at different times.
For me, energy/nutrition bars can be addictive. You can’t eat just one. With Amazing Grass not only are most of the flavors very tasty but they are satisfying without being addicting.

|Middle Grade is SO GREAT it compares to ceremonial grade and the Ceremonial Grade is the BEST PRICED matcha on amazon,
Color (5/5):
The color of matcha is one of the key indicators of quality! I was extremely surprised when the color of Eco Matcha was just as green as the ceremonial grade tea from Midori springs. See pictures!
Texture (5/5):
IT FEEL SO SOFT AND POWDER-LIKE (another indicator of great quality). Again, I couldn’t really we the difference between the Eco matcha and the ceremonial matcha.
Flavor (4.5/5):
I’m still new to telling the difference in matcha flavor, but in was very happy with the way Eco matcha tastes. It is not bitter, but I did get some grassy notes (but it tasted very good)
Packaging (4/5):
There seems to be only two ways that matcha is packaged: bag or tin. This one came in a bag LOL. But who cares if it comes in a bag?
OVERALL: I would highly recommend this matcha! The quality of the powder is quiet visible in pictures and the taste will not disappoint!

YAY I GET TO UPDATE THIS BECAUSE I ALSO PURCHASED THE CEREMONIAL GRADE MATCHA!
Color (5/5):
Just to restate, the color of matcha is one of the key indicators of quality! The ceremonial grade matcha is SLIGHTLY greener than the middle grade matcha. Not too noticeable of a difference, but still slightly greener!
Texture (5/5):
THIS MUST BE HOW CLOUDS FEEL LIKE. The texture of the middle grade and ceremonial matchas were almost identical – very fine and powder like.
Flavor (5/5):
Unlike the middle grade eco matcha, ceremonial matcha does NOT have grassy notes! This makes it perfect for drinking it as tea (aka matcha powder and hot water). However, I still love it as a latte. I’d also like to point out that the ceremonial grade matcha froths SLIGHTY better, which is ideal for any latte art fans out there. Im not a barista, but i managed to make a heart
Packaging (4/5):
There seems to be only two ways that matcha is packaged: bag or tin. Sorry, tins are just cuter, BUT bags are easier to store in small crevices of the fridge.
Overall: If you are deciding between ceremonial grade matchas, honestly just go with this one. It’s about $10 cheaper than most ceremonial grades and I don’t think I would be able to tell the difference (I’m comparing this to my experience with Midori Spring’s Ceremonial grade matcha). Between the middle grade and ceremonial grade eco matchas, go with ceremonial grade if you are a straight tea drinker and middle grade if you are a latte drinker (or if you plan on using it to cook)!

This is a great “middle grade” (as indicated on the back of the packaging) matcha. I have tried several kinds including Kiss Me Organics, PureMatcha, DoMatcha, etc. This is a great value (3.5 oz for about 22 dollars). The quality is on par with PureMatcha which only gives 1.05 oz for about the same price and quality. The color is a beautiful bright green and flavor is slightly grassy with no bitterness. Also a bonus is that it’s organic!
I will repurchase because of the price, quality, and overall greatness compared to the many low grades trying to pass as “matcha” here on amazon.

|Pleasantly surprised by eco heeds quality.,
Well eco heed middle grade is not what I expected. The color is a beautiful bright green. When you open the bag you get that sweet vegetal smell. The texture is very close to ceremonial. Ceremonial matcha feels silky like eyeshadow between your fingers, culinary feels more coarse. This matcha has a very smooth texture. I made tea with this matcha and it was good. The flavor was very good and it frothed up like a ceremonial matcha would. Not like culinary grade matcha. If this is what their middle grade is like I cannot wait to try the eco heed ceremonial matcha.
This matcha is organic and comes from Kyoto,one of the two prime areas in Japan for matcha. There are other areas that grow it but they do not specialize in it like these two areas which have been producing matcha for centuries.
