This review is from: BEABA Babycook Pro 2X, Latte Mint (Baby Product)
LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! I tried using pots and pans and a mini food processor for a few weeks to start our puréed food journey, but my dishwasher was always full! with this there’s literally two parts – the basket and the canister. couldn’t be easier to use. my only words of advice – the back of the user’s guide has a table of the amount of water to use for various foods for steaming. the first time I didn’t drain that fluid after steaming, before puréeing. now I dump all the water in a small bowl and add it to the food as I purée to have better control over consistency. maybe that seems obvious to some, but it didn’t for me! and as other reviewers have written, I highly recommend the 2 sided one over the single size. I make more batches at a time, and I also use one side for my hubby and I (steamed veggies and such) and the other for the baby.

    Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
I was using the baby bullet before I purchased this and it’s like going from a bicycle to a Cadillac. It is so incredibly easy to operate- I can use this while holding my little one. I love that it doesn’t have a million pieces to wash, like the bullet did. It is tremendously more quiet that I would have ever imagined, which is great if your little one is sleeping. In all honesty, I don’t think I needed the Pro2x, I definitely think the Pro would suffice, but figured it was worth the extra $40 to have 2 steaming/cooking bins. My Beaba is my new favorite baby product!

I agree with the other person’s review about only one side blending ( both sides cook). That is indeed a bummer for the price! I like that you have an extra cup though in case one is dirty ( both fit on the blender side). My chief complaint with this product is you have to get the pieces really tight on the bottom for it not to leak in use. Maybe I’m doing something wrong because the instructions were kind of confusing and a lot of it appeared to be in French. I probably wouldn’t buy this again although I liked it enough to not return. It steams efficiently, blends great, and is cute. I don’t have a huge issue of counter space and its not a huge product in my mind. If you think you can manage keeping the cup clean on demand, I’d go with the version right below this. I wouldn’t go with the basic model because although the size of the cup is good the steamer cup inside is even smaller by a tad. This is probably an item you buy for fun, Im sure there are more economical choices.
