   I had to go to the web site for this product to find out the calorie count and SUGAR count. When they don’t show you on the product, on Amazon, you know it must be something high. 20 GRAMS OF SUGAR PER BAR! AND
   it says each bar is TWO servings. . . that’s 240 Calories a bar! OUCH!

   Our family really enjoys macadamia nuts and it always reminds us of Hawaii. This bar delivers on taste and is different from most bars that are dry and hard the Wai Lana bars just have a great taste and moisture texture that the kids enjoyed. There is a great mix of pineapple, mango and dates as well with the nuts to deliver a flavor we haven’t seen elsewhere.

   all-natural flavor and taste is a big plus especially for kids at school.

   We tried the Wai Lana Autumn Apple bar. It was ok, but very sweet. It had the texture of a Larabar, which we eat all the time, but the Wai Lana bar was almost overpowering in sweetness. In my opinion, it’s’ also overpriced (I paid $2 a bar). What I really disliked, was that near the ingredients list, there was no mention of peanuts (which is hugely important to me). But hidden under the middle fold of the wrapper, in the tiniest print possible, it said ‘processed in a facility that also processes peanuts’. For me, this was really irritating, because the peanut allergen information should be prominently displayed, not purposely hidden.
